General terms and conditions

If you'd like to order a cake, please send a private message to the Facebook page "Taeten Tatyana" or email us. Cakes are available for pickup only at our store in Asper. Cakes cannot be delivered or shipped. For cakes requiring transport longer than an hour, we strongly recommend providing your own Styrofoam box. The waiting list is approximately 9 months to 1 year.

1. Cakes can only be picked up Friday, Saturday, or Sunday at our shop: Carlos Dierickxplein 2, Asper (20 minutes from Ghent). Cakes cannot be delivered or shipped. For cakes requiring transport longer than an hour, we strongly recommend providing your own Styrofoam box.

2. Orders can be placed entirely via Facebook, email, or in our store (if you've already inquired via Facebook and ultimately ordered in-store, be sure to include your Facebook name, or I won't be able to link your order).

3. Cakes are always finished with sugar.

4. 3D figurines are always made of sugar, are provided separately, and should be placed on the cake at the very last moment. The figurines can theoretically be eaten, but since they are pure sugar, they are usually kept as souvenirs.

5. I recommend booking 9 months/1 year in advance if you want to be sure of a spot (holidays and months like March, May, September, and December are always the busiest). Booking closer to the day is always possible, but there's a much greater chance of it being full. Your name, date, and deposit are sufficient to secure your reservation; the rest can be paid later.

7. All orders placed via Facebook are recorded under your Facebook name. Deleting, changing, or blocking your Facebook account will prevent me from finding you and will automatically cancel your order (unless you notify me).

8. All themes are possible. You can create a theme together with me or come up with your own ideas. I never work with plastic; all my figurines are edible and handmade.

9. Payment can be made in cash or by Bancontact. You will always receive a box or container with your order.

10. You must provide me with all the information about your cake at least two weeks before your chosen date. If I haven't heard from you and your complete order hasn't been placed, I will NOT be able to make the cake. Cancellation for a refund is only possible for a valid reason, such as hospitalization or bereavement. Cancellation without a valid reason means Tatyana will retain your deposit for future orders.

11. The flavor inside is biscuit + choice of 6 flavors. Available via private message!

12. Cakes do not accommodate gluten/cow's milk or soy allergies / themed ice cream cakes can!

13. Cakes should always be immediately refrigerated. Figurines should never be refrigerated, but should be kept at room temperature. Ice cream cakes should be frozen.

Cake smash shoots cost €125 all-inclusive (choice of cupcake, decor, and clothing) and take place in Deinze.

15. We don't recreate exact copies of existing cakes! Every cake designer has their own materials, style, and working method, so an exact copy is impossible. You can, of course, always show the cake as a guideline.

16. Themed ice cream cakes are supplied with a freezer box as standard; a deposit is required for this. You can also bring your own freezer box/bag if you don't wish to pay a deposit.

17. Cakes should be placed in the refrigerator or freezer for approximately 1 hour after collection. For cakes that require longer than 1 hour of transport, we strongly recommend providing your own Styrofoam box.

18. My book "Basic Cake Decorating" costs €25.99 and is always available through our shop, by private message, or at good bookstores. This book contains a basic list of my most common recipes but focuses primarily on decorative pieces and a "how-to" for sculpting figures.

19. Do not book more than 1 year in advance to give everyone an equal opportunity.

20. There is a blacklist. Be and remain respectful.

21. I don't write down two weekends to delete later than one. I need the exact date.

22. 1 cake = 1 reservation, 2 cakes = 2 reservations

For the sale of tutorials/videos (for visitors from all countries - online)

Payment for the tutorials is required when you place your online order. After your payment is received, the tutorials will automatically be sent to the email address you provided. Therefore, it is not possible to cancel or return orders.

The files are for personal use only. Sharing them with third parties or on external platforms is prohibited.
